Oh wow, I'm inspired ๐Ÿ™€

Hellloooo and welcome back my peeps! Today I will be talking about how we were inspired to take action to make our film and how we came about it.

As I have previously said in a blog, I knew I didn't just want my project to be good, but to be superior. To know what superior was on a Cambridge grading scale, I have looked through MANY old AICE Media Studies projects to see what they have and what they lack. Through an evaluation of these, I was able to pick out what I think would be better to have in a project and what we may just want to steer far from.

The two projects that I have caught myself going back to constantly just to look at are made by the same person, and they have two completely different vibes.

The first project is a thriller as a boy navigates his life after he gets rejected by his crush and ends up killing her... The camera angles in this film were spectacular and left me wanting to know more after it ended. The plot twist was great and was honestly very, very well done for a high school student. The camera quality and acting for the project was also decent. As I constantly looked back at this project I knew I wanted to leave my audience to continue to think about my project after they have watched it as this project has made me think about it as well.

The second project that I find myself watching over and over again is by the same person, I'm unsure as to why they have uploaded two but, I appreciate it as both of these videos are phenomenal.
This second film is a music video with no dialogue, ring any bells? I was impressed with the emotion that it was able to convey just through the music alone with no verbal acting. My friends and I knew that we would have probably not been the BEST actors ever so seeing an example of just a video with music prompted us to also have our project just have music. This video is more emotional as it shows a guy getting over the death of what seems to be his girlfriend and visiting the places they used to go together. It was a beautiful film and has inspired my film greatly.
