33) updated storyboard
Hey party people, welcome back to my amazing and wonderful blog! Today I will be presenting my new and improved, updated story board.
To be honest, my group and I were fortunate enough to not have to change up much from our story boarding. The idea that we created in the beginning worked out pretty much until the end. With that being said however, we did just want to redraw everything so that It would look more neat. While we didn't change much up, there are still some major changes that impact our film heavily. In our initial storyboard, we had pretty much everything set down except the ending of our film, and how it was going to play out with all the girls going to different colleges. We decided on each of the girls having their own scene, while the credits and their names pop up on the screen.
Furthermore, a MAJOR change in this storyboard is that we have now added a calendar! The calendar symbolizes events that are currently happening in Vale's life at that time and date. Some intimate details such as lunch with her mom, date with her boyfriend, breaking up with her boyfriend. Moreover, not only that but the storyboard also allows for a clearer understanding of our overall project and the concept of college. Since the packing scenes, the audience is able to tell that Vale is moving away, but they might not be too sure of where, why, or when. With this calendar added, the audience is able to clearly tell what is happening in her life, when she is leaving for college and what she is doing leading up to that date.
