24) Title Sequencing 📝

Hello everybodyyy, welcome back to the greatest blog ever!

Today we will be talking about the title sequencing. For starters, I want to introduce to you what some ideas were for our sequence...

The thought process for the sequencing was easy, we wanted something to portray an artsy vibe and adolescence. In the end, we found these five fonts we wanted to use. Our film is to be named "Where We Were" chosen by the big jury of 'Otis Mandem', after a bickering about a "perfect title" as we all knew we could do better. We were torn between yellow or white for our font color, but in the end, chose yellow to match with the nostalgic connotation that yellow holds, and to match with the yellow and orange hue theme that we have in our film.

   

So which one did we choose?

Drumroll please...

"ROCKNESS"

   To be honest, since the beginning we knew we wanted to utilize that font because of another piece of work that we saw that also used it. The font just spoke to us and we knew that we wanted it to be in our film. The font looks messy but also perfectly in place, just like the girls in our film, messy but fun. We also all decided that we wanted the title sequencing to be at the end of our film to create more of a dramatic effect. Even though we already knew the font we wanted, we obviously had to look at other ones just in case we were missing the one. But in the end we realized none of them compared to the one we had originally set our eyes onto.
