Day One of Filming! 📸

 DAY ONE OF FILMING!

While I know that this blog is titled "day one of filming", my group and I have unfortunately not started filming yet... ☹️

And heres why...

On 1/11, we had decided that it would be our first day of filming and we would at least get started with our project. Boy were we wrong. We had texted the group chat with the other actresses the week prior to make sure of their availability and we decided on Saturday of that week. Unfortunately, I had forgotten that I had volunteering that day and would be late and by the time I would've came back, the sun would have almost been down and would not have fit with the aesthetic that we were looking for. 

Do not fret though! Just because we were unable to start filming does not mean that we have not started on our filming process at all. 

I arrived to Marianas house first on Saturday with a bag of props and shirts I had stolen from my little sister. As me and Mariana decided on the shirts we wanted first (first come first serve!) we had started to put together little outfits and take some pictures so that we could convey the look that we've been friends since childhood. 

About thirty minutes after I had arrived, the other girls had came after and changed into the outfits that we had curated for them. Mariana and I decided on some scenarios that we could take pictures for such as Christmas morning, birthdays, halloween, parties, and more. First however, we would need to explain the premise of our project to our actresses of course so they could get into character! After explaining the plot to the other girls they exclaimed and complimented our plot twist at the end, fighting over who would be the "bad guy" After we had collected ourselves, we went to the bedroom to change into our outfits for the different scenarios that our girls would be in. I personally love how these pictures had turned out and I feel as though they capture the idea of girlhood and friendship, exactly like how Mariana and I had pictured them. Furthermore, after taking all these pictures (and talking and gossiping) we were obviously exhausted!!! so what else screams replenishment like Wing-stop😛! Mariana was so kind and gracious to order us wing-stop as we debriefed and discussed the rest of the filming schedule and we decided on meeting every weekend to work on the filming until we finish (which wont take too long). After that, Mariana and I will edit our project until its to where we envisioned it! Stay tuned for the finished product!
